Dana Alawneh has extensive experience working with projects in Arts and Culture, specifically in Egypt. She worked with several International Art festivals such as Cairotronica (Electronic and New Media Art Festival) in 2016, Tashweesh (Conversations and Performance in Feminism from the Arab Region and Europe) in 2018 and Something Else-OFF Biennale Cairo in 2015, as a manager, co-curator, and programmer. Dana worked for the Goethe-Institut in Cairo managing three different cultural and artistic projects spanning across Egypt, the Arab region and Europe. Currently she is the Programs and Communications Director of NAAS (Network of Arab Alternative Screens). She received her Master’s degree in Gender and Women's Studies from the American University in Cairo.
