Dima Cinema is an initiative created in 2019 with the objective of setting up and promoting cinematographic initiatives in Algeria. For its first project, Dima Cinéma is committed to creating a network of Algerian alternative screens through a capacity-building program for cinema clubs. Dima Cinéma works to rethink the distribution of films, starting from the existing and active energies.  The aim of their action is to allow the Algerian public, whatever its city or village, to access a large catalog of Algerian and international cinema. Their driving ambition is to highlight the current and old cinematographic works in Algeria and create meeting spaces where filmmakers and audience engage in a conversation through cinema.
