Point Doc, focus sur le Documentaire (Tunisia) is the annual event organized by Doc House that focuses on documentaries and is aimed at film professionals, particularly those working in the documentary field.
For the 2024 edition of Point Doc, Doc House (Tunisia) and Network of Arab Alternative Screens (NAAS, Germany) had a special collaboration sharing the main stage for the opening ceremony of the Point Doc 2024 meeting, scheduled to take place on June 20, 2024, at the Novotel Hotel.
The purpose was to represent the NAAS to the Doc House community. It marked an important moment in fostering dialogue, exchange, and representation within the documentary film landscape.
NAAS participated in the Point Doc program, Focus sur le documentaire from June 20th to 22nd, 2024, at the Cité de la Culture (Chedly Kelibi) in Tunis. On June 23, 2024, NAAS representatives participated by moderating and speaking in two panel discussions and engaging with the community at a dedicated dinner event.
Nada, NAAS’ Executive Director, took part in a panel discussion about Le rôle des collectifs et des alliances dans l'industrie du cinéma du Sud (The Role of Collectives and Alliances in the Film Industry of the Global South) on June 20th, alongside Mohamed Said Ouma and Zoulikha Tahar. The discussion was moderated by Marion Schmidt.

On June 22nd, another panel discussion about Parcours documentaire: Naviguer dans la circulation, la distribution et la diffusion (Documentary Journey: Navigating Production, Distribution, and Broadcasting) was held, moderated by NAAS’ Program Director Mai El Gammal, featuring Khadija Benouataf, Khelil Triki and Dhia Jerbi.
