In its first edition, the Gouna Film Festival dedicated a session to alternative exhibition spaces in the region and invited NAAS Executive Director Jowe Harfouche to contribute to the discussion along with three of NAAS members, Metropolis (Lebanon), Zawya (Egypt), and Sudan Film Factory (Sudan), represented respectively by Hania Mroue, Youssef Shazli, and Talal Afifi.
