The twelve NAAS member spaces gathered for eight days during the 67th edition of the Berlinale. Held in partnership with the Arsenal – Institute for Film and Video Art for the second consecutive year, this gathering aimed to provide the programmers within the network the opportunity to explore various aspects of the festival and to network with professionals from the European and international film circles. This activity began on 11 February with an internal meeting of the network and was followed by a public gathering at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. One of the member spaces, Zawya Cinema (Cairo, Egypt), also participated in a panel organized by Berlinale Talents and Berlinale Goes Kiez on 14 February, titled, “Local Heroes: Community Cinema Reloaded.”
