LET'S SIT DOWN TOGETHER AND TALK ABOUT A LITTLE CULTURE, Exploring a Network of Spaces

On February 24th, 2024, NAAS gathered with collaborators and supporters at Savvy Contemporary for a public event as part of the LET'S SIT DOWN TOGETHER AND TALK ABOUT A LITTLE CULTURE program. The event, titled "Exploring a Network of Spaces", provided a space to reflect on the diverse practices within NAAS, discussing our collective journey, the challenges we've faced, and the successes we’ve celebrated while promoting independent cinema in the Arab region.

Through conversations, we explored how alternative cinema practices shape narratives and contribute to the cultural landscape, fostering a dialogue around localities, dislocalities, and the ongoing evolution of the UNITED SCREENS project.
